Volunteers in Police Services (VIPS)

VIPSThe Wilton Manors Police Department along with many other law enforcement agencies employs a Volunteers In Police Service (also known as VIPs) program in order to efficiently and effectively provide services to the members of our community.  Our VIPs Program currently consists of six (6) hard working and dedicated citizens of Wilton Manors who have become part of our close knit family.  As part of our family and this program, our volunteers assist our agency by providing services in the areas of fingerprinting, special events, children programs, records management, citizen’s police academy and much more.  The active involvement of our VIPs allows our police department to achieve our goals in the area of community relations and it allows us to provide an adequate public safety service to the members of our community at a cost savings to our citizens.  We are proud of our VIPs and are very appreciative of their commitment to public service and their endeavor to assist our agency with improving the “Quality of Life” for our citizens.  Our agency is always looking to recruit new volunteers who are interested in becoming active in the law enforcement profession.  If you are interested in becoming a member of our volunteer staff you are encouraged to contact Training Sergeant Chadwick at (954) 390-2160 or email him at  for further information.  Together we can make Wilton Manors a better place!
