Have you ever wanted to learn how to play the piano? Can you feel the music? Piano lessons are now being offered at Hagen Park. Individual and group lessons are available. Ages 4-adult are welcome! Lessons include performance opportunities, reading music, composition, ear training, music theory, music history and more! Classes taught by Daemon Garafalo.

This is an excellent venue on which to hone your paddling skills or take the family kayaking. This is truly one of the best urban kayaking opportunities in the Fort Lauderdale area, with shore birds, manatees and giant iguanas. Catch the excitement here. Rates are $16 per hour for a single kayak ($40 for 4 hours) and $24 per hour ($58 for 4 hours) for a double kayak. This is a great launch spot on the Middle River! We have rental kayaks available at the Richardson Park, 1937 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL. Spend a couple hours or circumnavigate the entire island in 7.5 miles. Yee Haa!!! Come on out and kick up your heels for a stomping good time and learn to Circle Left/Right, Do Sa Do, Forward ... . This is a great way to meet new people, exercise, and have a lot of fun. This is a beginner’s class held every Thursday from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at Island City Park Preserve, 823 NE 28th Street in Wilton Manors. The cost is only $5.00 per class.
