You can find book discussion groups almost everywhere these days -- in bookstores, community centers, private homes, online, and at the Richard C. Sullivan Public Library. While for some, reading is a solitary activity, many find their appreciation and pleasure of a book broadened and deepened through discussion. If you have a love for reading, and want to interact on an intellectual level and engage in interesting conversation, ask about our Island City Book Club. The group meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM.
