Does the City offer bulk garbage pickup?
Yes! Bulk pickup service includes items such as furniture, appliances, and tree trimmings that are too large or bulky for normal garbage pickup. A bulk pickup day schedule is given to all new residential account holders when they make their initial water deposit in City Hall. Bulk pickup days are also listed on the back of each customer’s monthly utility bill, on the City’s cable Channel 78, and online.

In order to keep our city beautiful and clean, we prohibit the placement of bulk materials at the curb more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup.

Residential customers should place bulk items at the curbside on their scheduled pickup date each month. Condominium owners receive this service twice a year and should place their bulk pickup items along side their garbage dumpster.

Commercial customers are not eligible for bulk pickup but they may call Waste Management at 954-974-7500 to obtain pricing if additional garbage service is needed.
