What are the garbage pickup requirements?
The City contracts with Waste Management for garbage, recycling, and bulk pickup services. For residential customers, they will pick up your city-issued garbage container (toter) plus one extra bag, or one tied bundle of branches, per pickup day. Branches can be no longer than four (4) feet in length or weigh more than forty (40) pounds and an additional bag must not weigh more than forty (40) pounds. The extra bag or bundle must be placed on top of your toter. Do not place extra garbage on the ground around the toter. Waste Management will not pick up your garbage if these requirements are not met.

Your garbage toter should be placed at the curb before 7:00 am on your collection day.

For those times when you have a special need to dispose of an accumulation of waste materials, the City of Wilton Manors offers bulk garbage pickup services (see below for additional information).
