Many City utility customers have discovered the convenience of receiving their utility bills by email. Receiving bills by email ensures that you receive your bills timely, it saves paper, and it saves money for paper, printing, and postage. Over 25% of all utility bills are now sent by email and that number grows each month. Customers still receive the helpful "Island City FYI" newsletter that is printed on the back of utility bills. For e-bill customers, the Island City FYI is simply an attachment to the email.

Sign Up for ACH Debit (Auto Bill Pay)
While you're at it, consider signing up to pay your utility bills by ACH debit from your checking or savings account. Over 20% of our utility customers currently make use of this convenient payment method which saves time and money for both you and the City. When you sign up for ACH debit, you still receive a utility bill each month, and the amount due on the bill is debited from your bank account 5-7 business days after the billing date. To sign up for ACH debit, fill out the form HERE and send it to us. We must have your signature on file to begin this service, which is provided at no charge. It may take up to one full billing cycle for ACH debit to go into effect.
