To subscribe to Broward County’s free Hurricane Update E-mail System, visit www.broward.org/hurricane and click on "Subscribe to Emergency Updates" on the left side of the page. The system provides residents with important information from the Broward County Emergency Operations Center before, during and after a hurricane. E-mail notifications will be sent to subscribers with news about hurricane watches and warnings, evacuation orders, recommended protective actions and related public safety information.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for the City of Wilton Manors E-mail List service to begin receiving important City information. The City sends bi-weekly e-mail updates and reminders to members of the list service. Subscribe at www.wiltonmanors.com and choose "Notify Me" from the right side column. You may unsubscribe at any time.
The City of Wilton Manors also encourages residents to sign up to receive emergency notifications through the City of Fort Lauderdale’s CodeRED and e-mail news alerts. To register, click here. If you are not able to register online, call the City of Fort Lauderdale’s 24-hour Customer Service Center at (954) 828-8000. People who have previously registered for the service but would like to update their phone number or add a cellphone number can re-register. Please note that automated messages can’t be delivered to cell numbers with a privacy lock feature. In order to receive messages, either turn off the privacy lock feature during emergencies, or enter 954-828-8000 on your “safe list” of phone numbers.
