Hazardous Waste Disposal

Broward County Permanent Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Locations
The City holds a free drop-off event for hazardous household waste in February each year.  However, if you’ve missed that event and have some hazardous items to dispose of, you may wish to drop them off at Broward County’s permanent collection site at 2780 N Powerline Road (just north of Copans Road).  This location is open every Saturday only, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.  They also accept electronics for recycling at this location.  This is a free service for Wilton Manors residents (proof of residency required).  Call Broward County’s Recycling Hotline at (954) 765-4999 for additional information.
